On the occasion of Mother's Day, the Feu Follet presents an exceptional piece: a single copy of the Dance of Sophocles, Cocteau, dedicated to his mother.
This moving autograph signed and dated by the author to his mother, in Latin, resumed a verse of Virgil Eclogues:
"INCIPE, Pareve stink: cui non relatives Risere, nec deus hunc mensa, dea nec cubili dignity is. / Virgil. / Jean "
which this is the French translation:
"Child, admit it: the son to whom his parents have not smiled is worthy nor approach the table of a god or to be admitted to the bed of a goddess. " More details by clicking on this link.
