NYIABF: A Fair for Rare Books, Maps, Manuscripts and More, New York

Running for a short time is the notable New York International Antiquarian Book Fair (NYIABF). Open until March 11, 2018 The fair takes place at the Park Avenue Armory. Displaying some of the most treasured books and materials covering every genre, the fair is a must-wait event for book lovers and collectors.
Returning for its 58th edition, the fair is more than 200 exhibitors from around the world. Produced by Sanford L. Smith + Associates, rare books, maps, illuminated manuscripts, incunabula, fine bindings, illustrations, historical documents, ephemera, making it one of the most coveted destination for bibliophiles. A connoisseur and scholar for decades, the fair has recently attracted fancy collectors and their unique trove of affordable materials. Officially sanctioned by Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (ABAA) and International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), with specialties in art, science, medicine, literature, history, culinary culture, fashion, first editions, Americana, philosophy, children 's books and much more. Along with 115 galleries from the United States, this year's edition will be attended by a large contingent of international galleries from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, Australia, Austria, Canada, Japan, Russia, Belgium, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, and Argentina - with an offering in the history of literature from Pre-Gutenberg to the 21st Century.
