Elegant Romantic pastiche binding of half light brown morocco over marbled paper boards, spine in six compartments with gilt friezes and gilt decorative motifs, gilt date to foot, gilt fillet frame to covers, moiré-effect paper endpapers and pastedowns, covers and spine preserved (with small marginal repairs), top edge gilt.
The number of this copy has been skillfully scratched out from the justification page.
A very good copy, nicely bound.
