Half black morocco over marbled paper boards, spine in six compartments with gilt fillets and triple gilt compartments adorned with green, red, and brown morocco central mosaic floral decoration, gilt date to foot of spine, gilt friezes to head and foot, gilt fillet frame to covers, marbled paper endpapers and pastedowns, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt.
Autograph inscription signed by Pierre Louys to Jean Lahor, the pen name of Dr. Cazalis, who was close to Stéphane Mallarmé.
Provenance : from the library of Jean Lahor, with his engraved ex libris pasted to pastedown.
