This is the first such treaty on how to dye wool and most important work of the author, Jean Hellot (1685-1766) Analyst renowned chemist and an industrial chemist. This is a practical treatise, which details the preparations and discusses techniques, and was a huge success thus in Europe where it was applied everywhere.
