Rare infringement published the year of the real original published it in Pierre Marteau, and an absolute rarity badge. This particular edition under the name Brunel is to rank among the large format prints in-12, it contains 150 letters like the editions given by Hammer. Like all Brunel editions, this edition would come out of the presses of Rouen. According Rochebilière (No. 771) this is the second edition of the group of P. Brunel, that is to say, Rouen, collation is the same as for No. 770. Note, however, with interest a feature that is not found in other described copies of this edition; the proposed model is the first volume at D'Amsteram instead of Amsterdam. title pages to the Sphere, in red and black.
Bound in full morocco head negro late nineteenth signed Cuzin. Back to jansenist nerves. gilt title and date. Rich inner frieze. gilt edges. Back with traces of friction. Paper very fresh, possibly washed. Beautiful copy, an appreciable bibliophile condition.
