Ky?sai Treaty on the paint, being treated as an autobiography of a manual painting. 36 color prints 39 pages accordion. Paper mulberry. Blue mulberry paper cover with title tag. Paperback with exposed seams. Creases on the cover, but nice copy. Ky?sai can be considered the greatest successor of Hokusai, and as the first cartoonist in Japan. Indeed, after studying with Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Ky?sai abandoned traditional education to find its own way, more popular, and developed a reputation as a caricaturist. It is often considered as the last great model of traditional Japanese painting.
