First edition of this rare scholarly journal founded and directed by Paul Nadar. Each copy has at least two inset with a plank of photographic prints by Nadar and often a photograph reproduced in photogravure. Contributions P. Nadar, A. and L. Light, A. Marey, G. Geffroy, J. Grand-Carteret, J. Demarcay, Davison, S. Ferrand, H. Fourtier, C. Gravel, A. Guerronnan Jetty Amécourt, H. Reeb, L. Vidal, J. Waterhouse ... "We expect to work for progress in further public concern in this very French discovery of Photography ...". So Paul Nadar he finished his introduction by way of introduction of this valuable journal, containing a picture of the famous photographer by number.
