Edition illustrated with 10 photographs of Henri Blanchère representing the great actress in her leading roles.
Binding in full black shagreen, back with five nerves set of black nets decorated with double black boxes decorated with golden florets, golden tail date on castors golden headdresses, small traces of rubbing a bit, quadruple frame on black nets spandrels boards enriched with gold finials, ornate first board in the center of a golden figure, framing a golden lace on contreplats, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, gilt edges, double nets gilded on the cuts, elegant Binding signed Petit successor Simier tail back.
Some spots affecting the pricipalement serpentes protecting photographs and pages in their eyes.
Provenance: the Jacques Félix library with its golden initials hit the center of the first flat.
Copy drawn in perfect binding signed by Charles Petit who succeeded Simier, bookbinder King in 1847.
