Illustrated edition of 12 original watercolors inset and color of Gerda Wegener, one of 25 numbered copies on vellum Arches paper.
Binding in full red box, smooth back slightly discolored decorated with a cartouche consisting of golden dotted lines and a box green box forming corrugated nets, golden wheels on the caps, golden dotted framing on the first boardes decorated with ribbons green box forming wavy nets and golden dots marrying their curves, guards and contreplats turquoise moire silk, frame of a large golden lace on the contreplats, guards following marbled paper, golden edges on the cuts, covers and back preserved , gilded head, Art Deco Contemporary binding.
Our copy, as it is stipulated in the justification of the draw, is quite complete of its suite of engravings at the end of the volume.
Very nice copy perfectly set in an Art Deco binding in perfect marriage with the illustrations.
