Binding of the publisher in full flexible cream carton, complete copy of its illustrated jacket that has angular gaps.
A hitch and a lack in the back of the soft binding.
Illustrated book of reproductions of works by Johan Barthold Jongkind.
Provenance: from the library of the painter and engraver Jean Frélaut with two handwritten signatures in heads of two guards (the first being covered by one of the flaps of the jacket) as ex-libris.
Our copy is exceptionally enriched with two original watercolors and two original pencil drawings by Jean Frélaut, which he has signed and executed in the manner of Jongkind as he indicated at the foot of each of them.
These four original works by Jean Frélaut representing marine.
