Cartonnage publisher Hetzel "banner with beveled boards" full red percaline signed Lenègre type 6, second flat type Lenègre "e1" as indicated by Jauzac, blue cover pages of origins, all golden slices. GU catalog in-fine.
Black frame slightly past the corner of the second board, a bit split a few millimeters tail of the first board which also has some tarnish, a dull corner.
The novel is a sequel to Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and to Captain Grant's Children , to which he is attached by narrative elements.
