Edition "At the banner" with beveled boards, blue on a red background. Illiustrated with 154 drawings by Ferat engraved by Barbant. Catalog for the year 1886.
Boxing editor type 6 signed Lenègre. Sign signed Souze. Second flat type e1 with central badge on black background, with geometric pattern framing.
Cardboard in perfect condition except a slight sunstroke in the back of the head.
The Mysterious Island is linked, without being a sequel, to two other novels by Jules Verne, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, and The Children of Captain Grant. The author was inspired by Robinson Crusoe for the existence of shipwrecked on a desert island.
