Cardboard said the editor "To the world map" or "the back to anchor" in its second version, the second Engel type flat "i". Foxing, hunt blue guards split but interdependent origin, some very skilful restoration of the carton.
Sandorf is dedicated posthumously to Alexandre Dumas. Jules Verne honors in effect in this novel the author of the Count of Monte Cristo ( "In this book I have tried to Matthias Sandorf the Monte Cristo of the Extraordinary Voyages."); Sandorf was imprisoned and betrayed like him and his adventures retrace his revenge. The novel is set in the Mediterranean region of southern Europe.
