New illustrated edition of 87 drawings by Benett and Roux. The draw is still that of the first carton and is dated 1886.
Publisher cartonnage said "To the golden globe", type 3, with the second flat type Engel h, with intertwined letters JH on a black background.
Beautiful first plate with gleaming golds, but the red frame of the border carrying many rubs, speckling red percaline; the still also has a scraped area. The back, whose golds are still well marked suffered the same scratches in many places. Headdresses slightly folded. Nice second board with some stains. Although slightly folded, the corners are solid and pointed. Some pale foxing scattered.
