Full mottled calf, icy contemporary. Smooth back adorned with grotesque. Part of title and volume number in red morocco. Caps threadbare. Scattered spots. A foxing on the first 15 pages of Volume 1.Célèbre libertine novel that inspired Diderot especially for prying jewelry. The work was long attributed to Crébillon son.
