New illustrated edition of 6 etchings after Desenne, vignette of title page engraved by Vallet and 5 inset engraved by Delaistre, Coupé, Vallol and Burdet.
Contemporary binding in purple full morocco, back with four nerves adorned with a central motif in gold rhombus surrounded by cold irons, gilded florets, multiple golden nets and interlaced cold nets, lace and roulettes head and tail, nets golden crosses highlighting the nerves, golden streaks highlighting the headdresses, dotted wheels highlighting the cuts, nets, lozenges and golden carnations framing the boards, floral motifs cold stamped framing boards, central pattern of arabesques stamped cold, lace gilded framing contretrats, contreplats and paper guards to the tank, all golden slices.
Back uniformly passed, slightly rubbed joints, cuts, caps and corners rubbed, sometimes important foxing on the pages of illustrations.
