Original Etching by the letter and hand colored aquatint, signed in the plate. Performed on laid paper with the request of the publisher A. QUANTIN to illustrate the fable of La Fontaine: "The two pigeons." Very good condition, presented in a modern black matte board and protected by winds. Delierre Auguste (1829-1891) and is referenced in the Benezit dictionary of painters, sculptors, designers and writers.
