First Edition Second printing, very rare, as well as the first edition, which in turn contains a frontispiece. Tchemerzine VII, 188/189. Full Sheepskin contemporary. Back tooled raised. part of title in red morocco. Head cap threadbare; tail headdress torn. 2 corners bumped. Friction. A clear, pale from fading on preliminary leaves mouillue. The lame devil is one of the rarest original eighteenth.
