Binding in full black shagreen, smooth back decorated with pieces of shagreen mosaic brown, red and green representing an owl perched on a branch of tree, listel of red shagreen at the head and tail of the back, golden roulettes on the caps, boards embellished green, red and yellow mosaics depicting a bouquet of flowers in a vase, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, framing of a golden lace on the contreplats, wrappers and back preserved and bound in, gilt head, golden dots on the cuts, case bordered of black shagreen, interior of beige felt, boards of marbled paper, Contemporary binding signed René Gutmann.
Beautiful copy perfectly established in a mosaic binding.
Illustrated book of a cover and 12 black engravings of Adolfo de Carolis.
Bookplate pasted next to the page on which the autograph is sent.
