Edition for of wich no leading copies exists and having the correct one colophon, false entry of the third edition. Bound in half morocco cherry strips, back with five nerves, date tail, blankets and kept back, gilt-head witnesses, lined morocco case cherry, binding signed Boichot. Our copy is enriched with a signed autograph card of Albert Camus addressed to René-Louis Doyon, congratulating him on his award booksellers: "Your friends rejoice, dear Doyon, a consecration of quality and should . anything complacency I wanted to tell you, at least: there are few opportunities to see the true and honest talent rewarded. " and a stamped and dated 1956 autograph envelope mounted on tab. Copy of the library René-Louis Doyon having passages underlined in pencil, paper and a few signs in pen. The first edition of the Stranger was pulled to 4400 copies 21 April 1942 and divided into eight fictitious "editions" of 550 ex. very nice copy well established. --- Please note that the translation in english is done automatically, we apologize if the formulas are inaccurate.
