Edition illustrated first edition of 10 prints in etching out text by Julien Le Blant and numerous off-text to the number 158 (Headers, vignettes, tail-lamp ...) after a draw luxury 110 copies.
paperback copies, such as published. Illustrated covers and backs and second courses. Small slit 1cm tail of the upper joint of Volume 1. Volume 2 of Mors top split of 1 cm. 2 small lacks tail of Volume 2. Front cover of the first volume a bit yellowed. Very few small pale foxing. Fine copy, blank and therefore uncut.
This edition was very popular in its release and critical acclaim were, particularly for illustrations of Le Blanc sticking perfectly to the text. Le Chevalier de Maison Rouge is part of the cycle of novels set during the French Revolution. Marie Antoinette, the Chevalier de Maison Rouge is in love, is enclosed in the Temple, and it seems desperate to save her.
