Bound in brown full morocco, back with five nerves set with black nets, slightly slotted head bits, wheels on golden headdresses, framing a set of triple gilt fillets intertwining in spandrels decorated with gilded floral motifs angles contreplats on full red morocco, paper guards at the tank, gilt edges, double nets gilded on the cuts, superb slightly later Raparlier PR binding.
Book illustrated with 6 etchings inset with 1 frontispiece by Lefebvre.
Some foxing mainly early volume.
Copy perfectly established in a dubbed PR Raparlier signed binding.
