First edition of the French translation by H. Isserlis and B. Auroyet with black and colored illustrations in and inset by Ivan Bilibine.
Binding of the editor in full canvas sand, smooth back, beveled boards, first board decorated with an illustration.
Ivan Bilibine's illustrations are broken down as follows: eight inset illustrations in laminated colors, nine wood engravings with black inserts, numerous woods engraved in black in the text (vignettes, initials, cul-de-lamps, banners).
Small fading marks in the margins of the boards and mainly affecting the second blank illustration plate, a hitch without missing on a top corner, a small stain on the edge.
Nice copy.
